Why the "Boiler Room?" This is a question we are asked almost every day...and we love telling the story!
Our coffee bar is basically located in what was the boiler room of the old Steam Laundry Building. (We're pretty creative, aren't we?) Our family has always felt that this space had a certain charm and held endless possibilities for a creative entrepreneur. We sometimes thought out loud "How great would it be if someone opened a coffee bar here?" Brandon and Meredith Shields decided to move back to their hometown and do just that! We desired to establish a warm environment to patrons seeking a relaxed atmosphere, fellowship with friends and strangers, and the experience of great coffee!
